Dear All, I have a problem with my bravo t-jet 1.4. When i am traveling at cruising speed, the car will pull back itself as if i let go the accelarotor. Secondly, if i am driving hard, from 4th gear to close red line, change to 5th gear and accelerate, the car would not bug. It just maintain at its rmp and speed until i let go the accelerator and floor it again. By right the car should push itself faster.
Anyone have the same issue and could share?

Brake switch faulty or badly adjusted. If the car thinks youre accelerating and braking at the same time it gets confused.

I have the same sort of problem where in 4th gear when approaching the redline but still a good way off it sometimes the car bogs down as if i've put the brakes on. Weird...

now u still have the problem?

Yeah, it doesn't happen often but when it does it's scary because its usually on the motorway and i'll have a panic thinking i'm going to have to stop on the hard shoulder if it doesn't get going again. Taking foot off and on again sorts it out though.
