General t-jet dualogic

Hi,

I bought a new t-jet dualogic in January and have covered 5000mls . It can be quite frustrating at first (Until you learn to change your driving style to suit the automated manual). It is fantastic when driving on fast roads with quick gear changes but can get caught out around town at roundabouts (It always wants to change down to 1st just as you want to nip out) the turbo kicks in and you end up screeching away. The economy mode can be frustrating as it wants to go everywhere in 6th gear!. The main issue so far is that I am averaging 24 mpg around town and 33mpg on a run, I am hoping this will improve as the miles increase and it has had it's first service. Thats all the not so good stuff, but , i love it and it is by far the best car I have ever owned. I would not now buy a traditional auto, as they seem slow and boring.
Hope this helps!

It makes it slow to react if you want to speed up as it also reduces throttle response, fuel economy is only 1 mpg better and it makes the character of the car boring!

Well from experience of the Dualogic box in other Fiat models it doesn't change the throttle response at all. Boot it and it'll kick down and pick up fine, just changes gear earlier when driving normally, and tbh without Eco IMO the gears don't change up quick enough lol.

Not sure how different the bravo is though as its got 6 gears rather than 5 in all the dualogics I've driven.
