Hi folks,
As I said im having a dilemma.
I love my Bravo 1.9JTDM 150bhp, to bits, had it for 3 years with climate control and blue and me it's certainly got the kit.
I've seen a renaultsport megane which promises more fun but with less kit.
Should I trade in or is tighten up the chassis somehow? How would I go about doing that?
Any help much appreciated.

No matter how you look at it, a Megane is always a Renault - it defies me why anyone would want one.

Just lowering springs or full kit Rob?

I never fit just springs, or recommend anyone does that

The dampers are very important at controlling weight transfer and roll

It will need dropping at least 30mm, perhaps as much as 50mm to get the chassis under control with some matched damping.

I have not seen any track focussed sport kits so you would probably need to for a coil overs with adjustable height and adjustable damping

Cheers Rob.
That sounds expensive? I agree on both counts. Wouldn't touch a frenchy except a renaultsport. What about the 2 litre Bravo sport? What's the chassis like?

I would always go for the 75 extra horses. Fun goes before everything :D You can always buy aftermarket 19s, I don't see how this could be a deal breaker. Same for the leather - I personally hate leather, but if this is so important for you - there are aftermarket companies that would make your leather seats better than the factory ones for about the same money, if not less.

It's an 07 plate with 26k miles. My bravo is an 07 with 31k miles.

I wouldn't go for the old megane cup... it's fun to drive the first two minutes but then you realise that you have an old megane with the old ****ty interior and not very reliable.

It also looks ridiculously old and outdated compared to the new Megane RS.
