I get a loud brake squeal when reversing, sounds like its from the back. any ideas? i am going to strip the brakes down one day and clean and grease them.
I had the same problem, they would only squeeze when I was reversing. I changed the pads even though they didn't appear to be running low and it fixed the problem
It probably wasn't the pads that were squealing as such. Did yah copper grease the new ones? That's probably what sorted it Best thing to do is just remove callipers, clean em up, copper grease the pad seats and back of pads (Being cautious not to get any on face of pads or discs) and it's probably job done Gotta do mine when I get a minute ^_^

Yea to be honest you might be right, it may have been the copper grease. since the pads on the front need changing I thought I might as well do the rear lol. But I don't think the actual pad made any difference to the squeak
