Hi guys,

I need to remove the lower rear bumper on my bravo sport, any idea what screws i need to undo etc??

cheers in advance!

Remove the rear bumper (careful, there is an electrical wire connected!). Undo three bolts, one left, one right and one in the middle (all to be undone from the inside of the bumper). Take the two parts apart while releasing the retainers, done.
Hope this helps

Baai dankie geniet jouw dag :)

Tге еxplanation in elearn not very accurate. There are 3 bolts behind each rear tire. Furthermore, there are 3 or 4 screws from the underside of the bumper. There are clips, some of which it is impossible to disconnect if the rear lights are not removed.

The key is to remove the main rear lights and release the 3 or 4 clips that latch onto each side.

The task is in fact easy, BUT take care when releasing the tabs that hold the bumper to the car these are fragile and easily broken. A second person would be of great benefit. If you break too many you will need to get new bumper brackets which I believe are rivetted to the body work. My bumper is now only held on by about 8 of the original 24 or so of these tabs. Its been like that for nearly 5 years and I have stopped worrying about it but it is an issue. As others have said the lower section just clips in although parting it is a pain in the rear end - literally. If its to fit a twin pipe exhaust I would just cut it the lower section is very soft plastic and can be cut with a stanley knife. I had to do a cut out for my tow bar. mark the right shape and go slow it should be fine.
