Just been on fiat.co.uk & on the configurator it now shows the 1.4 Multiair 140bhp engine available in Dynamic & Sport trims.

Took them long enough but it seems Fiat arn't giving up on the Bravo like could've been feared a few weeks ago when the Sport trim temporarily disappeared.

Good news, but anyone think they might buy one or is it a case of too little too late?

:yeahthat:
I love my Bravo, I never thought I would but I do.

Completely under rated. Ive sat in the new golf and the one before and I thought it was as dull as 3 in the morning in the winter.
Theres far too much badge snobbery in the media when it comes to group tests. It's by far the best looking hatch on the road just now.

The only thing that would make me happier with it would be if it was an estate so my dog could get comfy on a long drive.

Oh and Abarth should have a go at the Bravo too.

good news, as previously posted this has been available on the continent for a while now

It is a good sign that the current model has a little life left in it yet. It would be nice to see Fiat advertise the car more. The car really has a lot to offer for itself.

I agree with all the comments made so far but particularly the above. I could never work out why they didn't advertise it more. The main reason for it not selling much is that your average car buyer still thinks of the 90s hatch when you say 'Fiat Bravo'.

It does have the odd compromise but it's certainly as good if not better than a Peugeot 308 & they sell pretty well so it's gotta be down to advertising.

Fiats 'reputation' can't be the issue because otherwise the 500, Grande Punto and Panda wouldn't sell as well as they do. People would be far happier with a Bravo than a Grande Punto i reckon - the GP isn't a patch on the Bravo for quality as far as i'm concerned.

Would you believe that I asked FIAT when the multiair engine would be available on the Bravo less than 3 weeks ago and the response was "we have no knowledge of this".

I can totally believe it. The communication between some of their teams seems more or less non-existent. It's good that when you phone Customer Services you go straight through to Italy, as i do think they can be abit more passionate about 'their' cars whereas the UK can be typically dismissive. Over here we seem to have developed a culture of knowone wanting to take ownership of customer queries. This applies to many things, not just Fiats or cars in general.

However, speaking to someone in Italy does cause problems in that they don't seem to know some information for specific countries. In this case they will have had Multiair engines in the Bravo for months over in Italy & the CS advisor appears not to know when other markets will also get the engines. They kinda need briefing on the product line-up in all countries they deal with, which doesn't appear to happen at the moment.

I can believe this. I visited one dealership when looking for my car that insisted the Bravo came in an "Eleganza" trim and that no models featured rear parking sensors... Clueless!

Fiat UK have alwayas been clueless whenever i have tried to liase with them; as a customer and as a business

as has been said you need to bypass Fiat UK and speak with Fiat Italy to get any accurate information...
