I've had my Bravo for a good few months now, and was wondering what others fuel consumption figures were?

I have mixed driving routes, mostly town, but with the occasional motorway/dual carriage way blast, and I'm averaging 36-38mpg.

Is this normal? I was expecting a little better I have to say...the figures I'm quoting are from the cars average mpg dash read out, but on filling up a few times, and calculating what fuel I had left over, to what amount I used in accordance to mileage done etc etc, I have found the readout to be quite accurate.

However I do still feel I should be acheiving mid-40 figures. I'm currently also running on the smaller 16" rims for winter, and was expecting that to give lower fuel figures...

Dont worry i had the same issue, mid thirties on mixed driving.
I could get 55mpg on a long run. I used to get 28-30mpg is heavy london traffic.

After i installed by tuning box the MPG went up slightly by 5mpg on a long run and mixed driving. I now longer own my mjet 150 and i do miss it because my abarth is now doing around 25mpg in town :( 40ish on a longer run.

It looks to me as if you more than often on boost, try driving more conservatively and you will see a significant improvement.

Thanks for the reply, glad to know its normal!

I do admit, I'm not the most "Eco-friendly" driver, the term "Leadfoot" does come to mind at times!:p

Its kind of hard to keep off boost at times, seems quite sluggish under 2k rpm, but suppose I was spoilt by previous motor with big CC and no turbo, with heaps of lowdown torque lol.

BTW I have sent you a message regarding tuning box!;)

Ours typically returns 48 - 50 mpg. On a run at 80 ish it drops to around 45 mpg.

The best Ive had I was really trying on my 17 mile commute to work. Mix of roads and some stop start, was 57mpg:D

I've got a tjet 120 and my best average is 30 mpg and that's driving carefully! which i hate doing.
