Posts: 492 Thanks: 6 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | 120 TJet to 150 TJet What are the differences between the TJet120 and the TJet150? Is it just Turbo and Injectors? I'm just wondering, If I buy a second hand turbo from a 150 and the injectors can I turn my 120 into a 150? xD I've heard the turbos are physically the same size, and it's just the innards that are bigger on the 150. Thanks =]

aka whitebravo ![]() | Re: 120 TJet to 150 TJet I'd say the 150 isn't a great deal faster than the 120. Rather than changing turbos etc you should get a tuning box to put it to 150 and maybe some fastroad camshafts and a big intercooler to get you flying? It would probably be cheaper than getting the turbo changed. ![]()

![]() | Re: 120 TJet to 150 TJet The cheapest way is to sell your 120, and buy a 150. Factor in parts, labour, increased insurance and you're probably over the cost of buying the T150. |

CH is the french for PS, so the cars do actually put out more than fiat says. edit : or maybe that's the power figure before drivetrain loss? Last edited by Tad-bravo; 22-02-2011 at 16:18. |

Posts: 215 Thanks: 3 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: 120 TJet to 150 TJet Power loss from engine to wheels is approximately 18% on a manual car. So 134 - 18% is 110, far below the 120 advertised. That, and manufacturers usually only give the engine power figure, I'd say the 120 is just under-rated and some vehicles will come out with quite a bit more. I want to get my car on a RR 'cause it doesn't feel like only 120hp!

A front wheel drive car will have between 12 and 14% while a rear drive can be as much as 16%. In the case of the bravo if my theory is right, the drivetrain loss would be 12%. or maybe the engine is 136HP with drivetrain loss take into account already? ![]() |

I want to be looking 200bhp+, and the IHI's are completely maxed out running over that, even with all the other mods.

Posts: 2,458 Thanks: 101 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: 120 TJet to 150 TJet It can be done mate, I've done it. It does make quite a bit of difference as the turbo can handle more and isn't maxing out at 160ish like the t120. I did however have problems with the upgrade and am still trying to look for injectors for it as I can't seem to research anything but the GP SS ones, that don't fit anyway.. (I think :S).
