Hi, been a member on the forums for a couple of months now.

I bought an ex-demo Bravo Multijet Sport in Maserati Blue at the end of February. Thought I'd get something a little different after having a Clio, Rover 75 (I'm not an old man really) and ZS, have to say the Bravo has surprised me with the amount of power on tap and the refinement of day to day running.

Just got around to take a few photos now so here they are, complete with a little Abarth Scorpion and a Fiat Forum sticker.

Hi, resurrecting an old thread here, but I am 99% certain I now own this car! Mainly because of the fading on the side skirts, FF sticker which was in when I got it and that the previous owner was from Northumberland. :)

Southampton, as I said I am 99% sure. Bought it with 14,500 miles on the clock last March in Slough from Thames Fiat. Have done a further 20,000 so far and it has been an excellent little car since then with no problems (fingers crossed this remains the case). Now doing 50 miles to work a day, 40 of which is on motorway and dual carriageway so a perfect journey for it with fairly light traffic so not too much idling or stop/starting, which seems to be what the 2.0 Multijet is good for.

Here it is now, with the addition of a Help for Heroes Sticker below FF sticker, personalised plate and front mud flaps. Original registration started ND59.

That's one mean looking motor. It's a credit to ya mate. I've just bought some wheels for mine, once I get then refurbed I'll get some pics up. Cracking colour that Maserati blue.

Fiat wheels or aftermarket? Look forward to seeing some photos. Have you got any quotes for refurbishment yet? I am considering getting mine done as although they look fine they are covered in small scratches and are kerbed in a few places, none of which I have done! Was like that when I got it. But looking at £70+VAT per rim to get them done right the the back of the rim.

This 100% was my car, I really did enjoy it just wasn't made for the type of journeys I do everyday.

Pleased to hear it has proved reliable for you, I think the 13 (26 Round Trip) miles on twisty country roads I did to work in it daily didn't allow enough time for the DPF re-gen.

The scratches on the alloys were due to the terrible roads I drive along (think gravel tracks).

Keep on looking after it, it was made for motorway journeys: quiet and refined (when warmed up) (y)

What kind of MPG are you getting out of it?

The twisty country roads and gravel tracks probably explain the faded side skirts as well then? Getting these sorted out today.

The DPF hasn't been an issue for me so far although it would be better without it altogether as it does affect fuel economy I think when it regenerates.

It is excellent on motorways isn't it. If I drive steady at 60-65mph I can get about 53-54mpg on my run which is quite hilly.

If I keep about 70mph this probably drops to 52-53. Pretty decent figures I think for a 2.0 165hp diesel - very few manufacturers manage this even on their latest models.

I take it you didn't get this kind of mpg on the roads you drive on? - and what do you drive now?

It already had a bit of road rash when I bought it as an ex-demo, the thing that caused the worst was newly laid 'tarmac' - in northumberland this means a bit of tar spashed down with some gravel thrown on top ('gravel tracks').

I did think about getting them sorted and getting some sort of stonechip protective layer applied (http://www.paintgard.co.uk/paint-protection/paint-protection-film.htm) to protect them but never got around to it.

The best I got on a commute was 41, and on a motorway run 53.

I replaced it with a very cheap Rover of eBay just to get me from A-B, Then bought a MG ZT-T SE. Since then I have recently bought a 2010 SAAB 93 Aero 2.0T XWD SportsWagon. I did come close to getting an Alfa Giulietta but couldn't find a petrol one with the spec I was after.
