Ok first off... no spamming the thread.

My heater control bulbs have blown on the temp selector side and i need to replace them as its doing my swede in.

Before i take my car apart, a couple of questions first.

*What size/type of bulb is it?
*Do you have to have the head unit released to get to it like the Stilo?
*How does the plastic trim between the head unit and the control panel come out?

You may be sarcastic in your approach but at least he got the answer there..............

BBS, it's really simple, remove the stereo unit, then unclip the plastic trim below it, remove the gear gaiter, remove the carbon effect surround, do not unscrew the heater control panel there is no need, put your fingers behind the panel and there are two bulb holders, one to the top left, one to the top right, pull them out, replace bulbs and reassemble in reverse order. It's very easy and took me 30 minutes. I don't know the bulb size but took one to my motor factors and two new ones were 80p.

Hope this helps.
