Hey everyone,

Any ideas on the best method for cleaning a car, once its washed with the traditional method of a bucket and sponge i would like to keep it shiny longer.
Mines black and gets dirty very quick and swirl marks are visible.

Should i just t-cut it or wax it or both?

Any of those spray waxes any good?

Micro fibre clothes are the best buff off the wax i presume?

Thanks

Never use T-Cut other than a last resort to remove bad scuff marks or for a major renovation job. It's far too coarse.

There was a range recommended on the Bravo/a Owners forum (BOO) a while back, but i'm damned if I can remember what it's called.

For a start ditch the sponge, that could well be causing swirls. Sponges flat surfaces can drag grit and dirt and cause the tiny scratches. Use a wooly washmitt thing.

Autoglym super resin polish is decent against swirls, mildly abrasive and filers in it.
