Hi all,
Anyone know how to reset the service spanner on the dash display?
Had the service done a few months ago at 16K by the local garage using Fiat approved parts to maintain warranty etc, but the car is now approaching 18k and the spanner is on at engine start up.

Cheers all

Agree with post above. Mine came on but didn't need service, just not reset on service before I bought it. Arnold Clarke tried to reset but couldn't. On talking to mechanic from Fiat dealers he told me only the dealers can reset them. I've just left mine alone as it went off after a while and I just keep track of my milage so know when service due.

bravo is not on the earlier examiner releases and you need code to activate the later releases so unless a non-fiat dealer has examiner, dealer code, examiner serial number and subscription......spanner symbol stays on.

...or you just leave it and it goes off itself! ;)

My independent garage didn't seem to have any issue resetting the various bits on their examiner... Well not after they got it back after it died and it had to be sent away for fixing. So they must have a later examiner and subscription.

mine flashed up when my car got to 18k as the garage forgot to reset it when it was 2 years old at its 8k service.... i just left it and it went away after a bout 700 or so hundred miles (2 weeks motoring back then - think it was mid december).... now im coming upto 22 thousand miles and fast approching the service due at 26k roughly :D
