Hi all,

Even though i have all air vents closed and air con NOT working I still get air coming through the driver side vent next to my foot. i also have the system on cycle mode (meaning no air coming from outside of the car). This still makes no difference. Especially being hot weather here in Australia i feel the hot air from outside of the the coming through when driving. It is very unfomfortable. Is this a normal thing? Is it meant to have some sort of ventilation? I am taking the car in tomorrow to the dealer. I got told the whole dash may need to be removed. I am trying to avoid this. I had bad experience with them the last time.

Any help or advice would be great.

i have experienced the same thing just with cold air (cold denmark) looking forward to hearing what they say.

Ok just came back from the dealer. They say that is normal. Regardless if all vents are closed some air will come through. He didnt say why but he said it is normal for this model to have this. Maybe to ensure there is some sort of ventilation happening for safety? No idea...

Summer time this gets very annoying. I am thinking of closing it off with some tape. Then you come across moisture building up due to cold air coming through if air con is on. So you dont win either way.

What to do? Not much... just live with it i guess.

Sorry about this all but this is all I got from my dealer.

Buy an industrial sized fan and shove it on your back seats facing into the drivers seat.
