When I bought my 150mjet, I said to myself I will keep it until it die as I expect the re-sell value will be pretty low, so don't sell it unless you have to!!!

On another thread on here, not so far away, Jamie has just paid £9K for a 57 T-Jet 150 Sport with 17K miles. That was through a dealer so he would probably have got warranty and stuff. That was also specced up with decent options. Your car is a bit newer and a bit higher mileage so I guess fairly equivalent overall.

So I guess the private sale price would be around £7 1/2 - £8K. That assumes it costs the dealer £500 quid to prep the car, warranty, and other overheads, and say a similar amount to profit.

Depending how quick you need to sell, stick it on Autotrader at £8750 and see what response you get. I think they let you advertise for 3 weeks and change the price in that time, so if zero response in the first week, change the price down to something nearer the mark.

Its only just a year old.

Jamie paid £9k with the virtualy the same options as me he got the sky dome and climate control, ive got the leather interior.

i reckon £9200 is ok... warranty wont come into it as there still 2 years left on the manufacturers+ just service with 2 new tyres.

There not many with the leather interior and its diesel! so that must be a advantage.

9.2K?? well, hope you get that, but if you look at auto-trader, there are cars with under 10k miles from main dealer for around 8K, anyway, good luck for the sale, whats the reason BTW?

yes there are but they wont be 150 mjet sport 08 plates with leather interior, the glasses/what car price are around £8800 without any extras.
Funnily enough i was offered £9k about 1 month ago when i lost my job, i declined.
Im thinking of selling due to financial issues... i dont want to its a gr8 car.

Jamie got the petrol version, it has to be at least 1k more for the diesel.
Also the price of a new one has gone up because of the exchange rate. Last time I looked, the retail was 1.5k more than when I got mine.

Not of the same model and spec there aren't.

Am I the only one have aceess to autotrader ???
There are a few 150 mjet on 07 and 57 plate with less than 10k miles on the clock from traders for around 8.5 -9k. (they take p/x and likely to take up to 500 pounds off!!!)
I understand urs are 08, but with 23k on the clock? I'm not try to put you off mate, just be realistic thats all.

But most of the ones on auto trader are actives, not Sport.

Before this turns into an advert I'm going to have to close it. Hopefully we'll have a proper way to value bits and bobs soon but until then I'm afraid it comes under our advertising rules.
