Just wondering what kinda bulbs you can put in the Fiat Bravo!?

For example: Philips X-Treme Power H4... Would they fit oooor are they the totally wrong type!?

My bad if this is a repost guys.
Thanks in advance!

Look in the manual for what type of bulb they are. They will be H4 or H7 or similar. Whichever it is, any brand with the same type number will fit no problem

Dipped are H1s but some sort of eco version, which aren't very bright. Main are H1s as well, not sure about sidelights, think they were H7s.

Thanks for the feedback guys, found out that the Dipped and Main beams are both H1 fittings soooo unfortunately this rules out the Philps X-tremes sooo will have to go with the Osram Nightbreakers which are meant to be nearly as good!?

Also just incase anyones wondering the Sidelights for the Bravo are W5W, and the front fogs are H11 :)

Just ordered Phillip X-Treme Power H1 and got a set of sidelights free to boot from here http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=160 use code
ZXRCX111 for an extra 10% off. :slayer::slayer::slayer:

I've upgraded to the osrams, they're great. I'd suggest doing the fog lights too. Still not got around to doing mine yet mind..

So Main beam are H1, Dipped are H1, and sidelights are w5w? So does that mean you'd need to buy two of those packs above to do all the lights??

Take it its easy to do?

Changing bulbs on Fiats is like a Krypton Factor Physical Challenge!!

Really? There are far, far worse, the Bravo is the easiest car I've done, the only thing really fiddly I found was the metal clips which hold the H1's in place and was difficult and uncomfortable on the fingers to get off and on. The water bottle can get in the way but not that bad (except when I knocked the bulb off it and it fell into the engine bay! :bang:).

I saw a car which was close to having the battery removed to get the light cover off and I believe Halfords won't fit bulbs on the Focus such a PITA it is.

I've used Osram Nightbreakers and Osram Cool Blue sidelights and I am very happy- nice and white rather than yellow. Foglights or cornering lights are still yellow- but not too bothered as only on occasionally.

I buy my lightbulbs off eBay, really good price from a firm Watt Bulb in the South West. I got my sidelights from another supplier there too.

Try fitting a HID Upgrade kit to an Astra, in the dark, with only basic toolage and a wind up light. Best way is bumper off and lights out, but you can struggle through the wheelarch if your 'ard like me.

Thats a worthwhile upgrade, i've got them on mine, technically iffy legally, but never had any problems, brilliant light output, and look great, especially when you turn them on and get a blue colour light for 10 secs, until they've warmed up. Also got LED sidelights and numberplate lights in it, and footwell / puddle lights are on their way, as is an uprated LED interior bulb. Should look lovely when its done!

On my motor, you simply pull a metal retaining bar upwards then the entire headlamp unit slides out and you can change the bulbs indoors:p

That aside, I can recommend Philips Extreme 80% bulbs. They were excellent when I had my GP. I'm certain you can get them in H1??

With yours the Bravo having projectors, I'd personally stick a HID kit in.

Isn't the Cool Blue a bit bluish? Are they the same white as Nightbrakers?

I find them the same white output at the Nightbreakers- indeed the sidelight bulb is the same blue colour as the tip of the nightbreakers.

The cool blues certainly do not put out a noticeable blue light unlike some other sidelight bulbs.

Replying to myself but got the camera phone out and snapped a picture. Not the best and the sidelight might be a touch more yellow but that is Osram Nightbreakers and Osram Cool Blue sidelights side by side!
