Hi guys

Just bought a 120 Tjet dynamic bravo - love the car - fast as hell after my old megane but i have an issue i am wondering if anyone can help me with

when i turn on the climate control with the air con light illuminated on auto or manual no cool air comes out??? When its set to 16 deg C i would expect my girlfriends nipples (and mine) to be fully noticable but it appears to be warm

I have tried every combination possible, please help!!!!

Am i missing something or do i need to take it back
 
Sounds like you might have a leak on the air con system. Mine had a similar problem not long after I bought it - a pipe was replaced and the system re-gassed. Nice and cold after (y)

The less said about your girlfriends nipples the better - the forum boys will be after photos :p
 
I have only had the car 1 day, problem is the dealer i bought it from is 120 miles away

will this be covered you think?

and can i take it to any fiat dealer?
 
There is the chance that the previous owner hasn't used the air con resulting in the system becoming discharged. If not then yes it should be covered. Give your local dealer a call (dont be suprised if they are a little upset that you didn't buy a car through them), and see if it's something they can fix on warranty. If not then it could be a day trip back to where you bought it.

Air I believe should be under 5 degrees.
 
I have another issue with my local dealer
i found the car under same dealer name but 120 miles away and my local dealer did not have car i want(tjet dynamics are like rockinghorse poo) it seems. Local dealer had a 1.9 diesel sport he was trying to sell me and when i asked if he could transfer car i wanted down to us he said no prob. Went away to ring them came back said car was not for sale and it was a mistake and would i like to buy the diesel
i went away and rang them myself found car was for sale and hence the 240 mile trip x2. Not sure what reaction i am gonna get or give as i feel like strangling the salesman who tried to stitch me up

Sales and service should be difference department, so you might not see the same guy again. (of course depends on the size of the dealership) The dealer I bought my car from, their show room and service department is located in different buildings, I didn't get to see my sale guy since i pick up my car.
 
Just to let you know

After further being messed about - finally got my climate control fixed - turns out it was the condensor that needed to be replaced so all cool now as it should be thanks guys:)
