Hi all,

Picked up my new 09 t-jet 150 yesterday, very pleased with the car, just trying to take it easy for the first 1000 miles to bed it in nicely.

While i was there i asked if they could remove the headunit so I could fit my IPOD cable to the AUX socket. He only had one bravo stereo key for some reason so wasn't able to remove it. He is going to try and get some keys in but in the mean time suggested I try dropping out the glove box which may give access so I can reach up behing the stereo and fit the cable.

Has anyone done this and is it an easy job, dont want to get half way through and realise I can't get it back together!!!

thanks,

I've connected up an AUX luad, but got the stereo out to do it. I've fed the lead out through the glovebox, and had to attach it to a piece of stiff wire, and feed it throug a small hole between the stereo slot and the glovebox. As far as I rememeber, the stereo slot is all part of the dash, and you wont get access. Even if you did, you would need 10" long fingers, and as thin as chopsticks :D
