anyone got the new 1.6 120bhp multijet.
just wondering if there were any good, just brought a new one with that engine and its getting made in italy at this very minute
cheers carlobravo

Think I would have established that first before buying TBH but there isnt any reason the 1.6 16v MJet shouldnt be any good...

haha true, i know there good car cuz iv got the the 1.4 16v bravo but trading it in for the 1.6 16v multijet.

the 1.4 16v 90bhp is a reali nice car dont get me wrong just thought i would change for faster car and will be able to remap the engine of the multijet to around 160bhp.

My father-in-law has a 1.6 multijet bravo (58-plate 120 dynamic) with the 16v FPT diesel engine.

Having driven it back-to-back with my 1.9 mJet 120, I would make the following notes:
1.6 engine is much quieter and less clattery at idle,
Both take ages to warm up but 1.6 does seem to get there a bit quicker,
Closer gear spacing on the 6 speed box (only 5 in my 1.9) gives strong acceleration that pretty much matches the 1.9,
Fuel economy seems pretty equal at the moment - around 48mpg in mixed use,
Road tax is the same (£120 a year) unless you have ordered the Eco version.

Overall I would recommend the 1.6MJet but would (and will eventually) actually spend my own cash on the new 2.0 165bhp version.

Hi I have the 1.6 105mjet great engine. 120mjet I took for test drive even better .You will not be dissapointed really good car fantastic fuel consumption amazing power and torque for 1.6 good luck and hope you enjoy the car.

thanks for the feedback on the 1.6mjet, i am looking forward to getting it but just waiting for the delievery date for it to arrive at my local fiat garage.
