Does disconnecting the battery for a long time (a few weeks - month max') cause any long term damage to the car?
Will things such as odometers reset back to zero or service interval counters reset.
Will there be any problems when the battery is finally connected back up and the car is attempted to be started?
I ask on behalf of a friend who is moving to the USA and is planning to take his Bravo with him. One of the rules though of the shipping company though is the battery be disconnected during transport. He plans to send his stuff over ahead of him and should follow in 3-4 weeks so the Bravo would be stored over there for around a month with no battery power?
He's looking for some advice before deciding what path to take regards it all?
