Hi guys,

I ordered a brand new Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet Sport 150 (from www.drivethedeal.com) about a month ago now, one of the additional options I specced was:

Heated front seats @ £175

Now, having looked around on the net I cannot find any information whatsoever how this works... it isn't even listed on the official Fiat website or in the official Fiat Bravo brochure that I picked up from the local dealer...

Anyone got any ideas? Or am I likely to a get a phonecall back from the dealer along the lines of "sorry mate you've payed for an option that cant be fitted" :)

CHeers guys.

I've ordered these on mine (a couple of weeks away til it arrives). They are on an official fiat price list that I have. The price is as you say.

I have them on my Croma - a small switch on the edge of the seat near your knee - about the size of your thumbnail.

Hi mate,

I have heated seats in my 150 t-jet sport. The buttons are located just underneath the hand break. You need the ignition on (ie MAR), and the little light comes on the button to tell you its on. May feel like you've wet yourself at first if your not used to heated seats.

Hope that helps,
Alan

Looking forward to the feeling, especially on the "its -3 degs outside and the bloody windscreen has iced over again at 6am in the morning" days :)

How quickly do they heat up...do they turn off after a set period of time?

Thanks for the info.

They heat up fairly quickly. You can feel it within a minit. I think they stay on permanently, but I haven't used mine for that long yet, only about half hour.

Of course the downside is that after you've cooked your testicles, you don't need to use contraception.

The downside is you can't get your kids to wash the car for you............
