I must admit with the 18's fitted i feel less confident as i did when i test drove the bravo with the 17's as i feel the handling is comprimised. It feels less comfortable around corners and cant take them at speeds i felt i would be able to with the 17's fitted. Its always a problem when you do fit bigger wheels but to only go 1" above standard fit you shouldnt feel so little confidence
I think i will contact fiat and see if i can fit lowering springs or full shock, spring combo to counter act this and not make my warrenty void as i feel it just doesnt handle the way it should. I know the suspension will settle down a bit after a few miles under her belt but just feel it should be alot better handling straight out the box.
All IMO obviously and with the type of cars ive owned over the years and with the sort of modifications ive done to my cars maybe im looking for too much??
Well i finally got to drive my new Fiat Bravo today, the only problem was on one of the hottest days so far i find the Air conditioning doesn't work. This certainly isn't a good start!!!
Well i think i have the buckled flywheel as my gears are getting clunkier and clunkier the more miles put on car so think im gonna pay a visit to dealer and see what they say. Will print off a couple of threads from here as proof that it does happen so they cant talk themselves out of it.
Apart from that still loving the car, very underestimated car IMHO and Fiat should market ALOT more but im also liking the fact that its not like an astra or focus etc i.e every second car you see so its a bit more exclusive that way
Down my way I only really see one or two other Bravos in my 20 mile each way to and from work! And thats despite there being a Fiat garage in the town I work in!
