Just picked up my T-Jet 150 Sport on Thursday...and on Saturday when I popped the bonnet I noticed what appears to be a pink waxy type subtstance has been coming from a pipe connected to the turbo and dripping down into the engine bay!

Anyone any idea what it is?

I also have an issue when I change gear. The gear changes dont feel very smooth, almost crunchy at times in lower gears...is this normal? I was used to it in my old Mk1 Punto Sporting but was expecting a little smoothness going from gear to gear in the Bravo! :( Do any other Sport owners experience the same thing?

yeah just got to try and figure out when I can take the car in! the dealership is about 25 miles from me...and in the opposite direction from my work! But i suppose its all covered under warranty anyway!

Anything like that should be covered under warranty, took my Bravo the other week and fiat fitted new stronger rubber hoses near the turbo, as they found signs of leakage, all done for free still under warranty.

yeah I'm sure it will be! It has been doing it since I left their forecourt on Thursday anyway!

The pipe that appears to have a leak/isnt tightened properly...is the one going into the front of the turbo as you look at it from the front of the car. Its definitley a pink waxy type substance which is coming from the metal connector.

Just got to try and get it booked in some time!

Hi, it is the paraflou supply to the turbo that is leaking to almost all t-jet engines. Tell your dealership to also check all the piping that is involved to the turbo as it is common problem. Also leakage from the oil cooler adapter. Both paraflou and engine oil.Cheers
