well, they can get a horrible fine by a policeman!

Thought i would have a word with FIAT on there chatline to find out about the foglight issue here, have to say that unfortunatally they didnt have a clue , so i contacted my maindealer where i will be getting my BRAVO, and i asked if he had any memos anywhere that said there would be a problem with legality, and he told me that Mercs have them and been used for some time now, and there have never been any problems with the police regarding a fog light being on when indicating.
I know that you have to take what maindealers say with a pinch of salt sometimes , I will however keep a copy of the bit from the handbook that explains about that feature, so if in the event of being pulled over because of that, it will all be there in black & white for him to read, and if it was insisted that it would have to be sorted out so that the foglights are seperate then im sure they will be happy with a big bill from FIAT around the country to have the work done.:chin:

Nothing, but when your left indicator light is on, when your standing still in front of e.g. a crossroads, you're left 'fog light' will also be on, which I think has no real advantage, and it looks stupid. But that last one is an opinion.

Well its true about the Mercs anyway. Saw it for myself this evening when one signalled to go right with its right fog coming on.
