Point taken.
It's just very frustrating.
No car is perfect and to have to keep seeing completely uncritical commentaries is soooo unhelpful.
When, on other subjects, we read paeons of praise for a thing, we know the commentator is biased and consequently take no notice. In fact the subject of the praise is devalued. I simply don't want the Bravo to be diminished by palpably biased - for completely understandable reasons - commentary.
I am 13 stone by the way, and have relatively long legs. So I need a seat highish. The Doblo, like many other cars, has a seat with a tilt that can raise the front relative to the back, whatever the height. The Bravo seat front falls away with rising, probably on the assumption that it would be shorter people needing to sit high, and so their little legs wouldn't want to be cut into by the front of the seat. This leaves no under-thigh support for the likes of me.
All details; but the Devil is in the details:devil:
Ok, I'm 6'7" and around 18 stone so I guess that's bigger than most on here. Stuart took me out a run in the car and I'd no problems with the seats.
You're right that no car is perfect and I didn't get the chance to sit in the back and take measurements but what I can say is that the car is very stylish inside and very well finished. There were no squeaks or rattles at all during the brisk run run down a poor quality back road. The ride is firm but not what I would call harsh. One thing I did note is that the suspension clonks a bit over potholes but overall I was very impressed.
BTW before I'm accused of wearing rose tinted specs whilst eulogising over Fiats I should point out that I'm an Alfa man through and through. I did own a Stilo Abarth for a couple of years and whilst it wasn't a bad car I was glad to get back in an Alfa.
For me to get out of the new Bravo with a grin on my face, and I wasn't even driving, says a lot for how far Fiat have come with this new car.
