Saved me £65, My Gear knob was loose thought it was broken but found out the bolt had come abit loose.

i have a newbie question, what is the difference between a lift-up and non-liftup gear knob??

I took fancy of a carbon knob and it doesnt states if its liftup or non-liftup.

like to know if they can be cross used?? or small minor mods needed?

Regarding to the usage of knob for non-liftup.

I managed to get my carbon look knob working on the Bravo after some measurement of the amount of movement needed for the liftup gate and have the shifter knob out of way from the liftup and it all mounts up well with a bolt supporting the knob from dropping.
