Some of you may remember that I pranged Shabash! last may much to my annoyance. Just thought I'd let you know she's booked in over easter for some tlc ready for Auto Italia at Brooklands.

She will be having a few subtle touches over and above the panels and trims that need repairing / spraying so watch this space.

Cheers Jug. Must admit that after the photshopping some of the lads have done for me I'm getting as excited as a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket holder. Can't wait!

I do remember that, wondered what was happening! I won't get to see it there but hopefully someone will take some pics to post so we can see

Don't worry hon. You can be sure I'll be taking plenty of pics when I get back from my hollybobs.

Well the transformation has started. Have spent 12 hours over the last 3 days in the garage getting busy with the dremel. Coming together quite nicely. Also, have ordered a few bits and pieces and supplies so it's all systems go.

It certainly does. First pics will be after Brooklands as that will be her unvieling event but I shall have a little gallery all ready for when I get home from the event.

Only 3 days to go now and I'm getting far more exited than I should. It's only a car after all (yeah, right!).

Gave Shabash! her first proper clean of the year and I've fallen in love again. It's gonna be soooooo nice having her face sorted so that I don't have to grimace every time I see the front. Have also spent more time than I care to admit to removing, prepping and painting various things ready for her to go in for spraying. Combined with a last minute change of heart on one particular aspect of the makeover makes me think I may have bumped the price up a bit. Ho hum, here's to the 25th April when I get her back.

don't keep Les too busy Al, my sideskirts are having to go back because the paints gone completely t*ts up, the Paint has started to go silver in big patches all over them I want them fixing pronto!

Well he's got Shabash! until the 24th April mate so I think he'll have time to do both.

I know chap, but I've got to fit them myself over a weekend so need as much time as I can to get them on in time for brooklands.

Well so much for staving off the post-holiday blues when I get back.

She's not ready but is, as we speak being masked for final painting. ETA next Monday afternoon so I shall look forward to picking her up then.

Hopefully she'll be done. If I can get her back Monday afternoon I should just have enough time to get her finished. Looks like I'll be working late into the evenings next week.

Well, a fellow BOOzer had a sneak preview today and apparently she's looking sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

I am far too excited now. It's like bloomin' Christmas Eve.

Well that's it. She's just being cleaned up so I'm told so I'm off to Romford for 5pm to pick her up.
