Technical HGT gear engagement

Alright, hope someone can shed some light...
My HGT has recently started not slotting into gear properly. Its like there's slight resistance when trying to engage. When going from second to fifth it even crunches a little. Its like the syncro isn't lining up or something.
Thinking it may be that the clutch isn't disengaging properly (hydraulic leak?) which i'm going to check out 2mrw, but wondering if anyone else has suffered a similar problem and could steer me in the right direction. Just hope the box is ok!!!!

Its not a common Bravo fault, I know of one other and my box has always been hesitant to go into 2nd and occasionally 3rd which started at 6,000 miles. The car has now done 40,000 and hasnt got any worse.

Let me know what you find if anything and I may add it to the Bravo Guide.

[2.0 20v]

I'm finding it really difficult to engage reverse but this is apparently a common Bravo trait.
Also have problems when changing from 2nd to 5th though so let us know what you find out.
