Ok so got a funny buldge in one of my tyres on my HGT alloys today, was helping someone move so went home and though i'll throw on one of those mk1 HLX alloys i have, but i couldnt get the damm things to fit right.
Now i'm thinking that the mk2 HGT alloys have a deep resses that the locating pins fit into, as these would need to be longer than standard for them to fit into the larger space saver. I couldnt find my spanners, and didnt have a socket deep enough to hand to take them off as it was pissing it down and i was soaked through. I put on another Hgt alloy i had which is slightly buckled and leaking to get me through the day.
Can anyone she;d some light on this?
It was the front wheel, can get the HLX alloys to fit on the back no problems.
