I am new to this DIY maintenance lark and consequentlly am wondering if air filters are standard even to diesels? Found this on ebay

that air filter will fit the standard sized air box. if your air box is the same size as other models, it will fit your car. you should compare pics of other poeple's cars (try members motors) and if the airbox looks the same as yours its a pretty safe bet that it will fit. i havent seen a JTD engine bay yet so i cant say.

I paid less than that for one from a motor factors. I believe the JTD 100/105 is the same, at least. That filter looks the same, but I can't assure you.



That's the later JTD 100 model, the airbox is on the bottom right corner of the picture, 2 screws are obvious and I think a further one or two. Undo the jubilee clip and remove the first hose and wiggle out the airbox, clean out the box (vacuum cleaner job for mine) and replace with new filter.

that airbox is the same as 1.8 and 1.6 petrol models too. i think it was only the 1.4 that was different.

The air boxes are pretty muvh teh same through the range, and even are common to som older alfas,155 etc.

Im going to be fitting my K&N panel filter to my JTD which has had an Angel Tuning Remap (around 130BHP). This orignially came from my Old Alfa 155 1.8 16v T.S.

However K&N list the same filter for multitple of cars.
