I've solved the problem! I mean, finally got a hand to some cash, went to mechanic and he just cleaned the injectors and now my car drives like crazy! Now I know how my Brava drives because when I bought it, th injectors were broken and now fixed! Also changed the fuel filter and now I'm on the ninth cloud! Just to see in close future what is with my front left wheel and nothing else to fix! I think that it is the break or suspension but we will see.

Nice to write to you guys after a while! :D
Hope you solved your problems!

how did he clean the injectors?

the only way i know of is to remove them and stick them on a test bench with some cleaning solution passing through. but it wont help a failed injector as the electromagnetic valve no longer opens sufficiently, which is immediately apparent on the test bench.

usually there is no need to ever clean them unless the car has been run on bad quality petrol.

Hello Jug! He put them into so called bath, I mean it is called in my language and probably this is test bench. The resistance was good and he out it in the maschine and they were cleaned! But there is a new problem, computer says that RPM sesnor is broken, but we changed it and still it is reporting this problem but I don't have no problems except that when the engine is cold it goes like the injecotrs are gone but later it goes fine. I have a friend who has a Brava too and when the engine is cold it runs great, better then mine so I was thinking that there is something else that needs to be changed?

have you tried cleaning the idle speed control valve? its always the first thing to try with a cold idle problem. my 1.6 bravo was the same, it almost cut out for the first 5 mins on a cold winter morning and really struggled. cleaning the ISCV fixed it.

if the ecu is still saying the CPS is faulty its probably just because the fault code is still there, and not because there is still a problem. if the engine managenent light or injection system fault light are not illuminated then the problem is fixed. the error code in the ecu may remain there until it is cleared, or it may get erased after some time. i'm not sure which is the case on these ecu's, but either way its nothing to worry about.

Ok, but where is idle speed control valve positioned? I also changed the fuel filter. Injection system fault light is still turned on but this couldn't be fixed, I really don't why but the computer couldn't erase the mistake.

i just re-read the post and slapped myself.
you dont have cold idle problems like i assumed, you have rough running when cold.

on top of that you have a fault code getting reported AND the injection system fault light still on meaning there must be a fault.

on this ecu you do not clear old fault codes. when the fault is fixed the injection system fault light will go out, and then after a while the fault is erased from the ecu (15 ignition 'on' switches iirc)

so you need to fix the fault that is obviously still there.

did you get the rpm sensor fault code using a fiat examiner machine? third party universal scanners aren't as accurate as an examiner and it is possible that the fault code has been interpreted as an rpm sensor fault but it is actually something else. also condsider the possibility of a wiring fault on the sensor. i would not expect the rpm sensor (aka crank position sensor) to have failed because if it did you would not be able to start the car. The fuel injection depends on the crank position sensor.

Probably you're right! I told you that when it is cold, or when I have to start it after a 12-15 hours break it just goes bad, when I step on it, it idles a little and when I'm not driving, when I want to hear the sound of my car in the morning, I also have an air filter like you do, the needle on the dials is very slow, on 1100 rpm stays a second and then goes to higher rpm. My thinking the injectors are not still good, but later my car goes well! I will tell you exactly how it goes when I get home and try out my car.

And yes, it was the fiat examiner! I know it depends on the CPS but one fiat and one third party examiner showed that it is CPS. It is crazy but I don't know! I changed the CPS but the fault is still there and my car is still not going OK, I think. Because I drove my friend's and it goes better then mine. Yes it has 100 BHP, mine 90 but I tried it when it was cold like ice!
