Re: Bravo rear wiper

mines the same, checked the fuses and then noticed a green fuse that had literally melted, turned out its for the blowers (which also don't work properly) and fag lighter

But as for the wiper? will have to try and fit another motor

This bloody car ios costing me a fortune

But then it is a Fiat i guess

Re: Bravo rear wiper

It's a VERY common problem. Before replacing the motor, do check the fuse and boot contacts. Replacing the wiper motor costs about £10 from a scrapyard (if you're lucky enough to find a working one ) and 15 mins.

Re: Bravo rear wiper

These rear wiper motors must have been made really really badly. Is there anyone on the forum who isn't looking for one?

I've been to a couple of scrapyards, remember mk1 punto motors fit as well in theory, but no luck so far. All the cars I checked either someone had had it already or they were broken. The best bit is, when you do find one, there's no gaurantee it will last any more than the first one!!

Re: Bravo rear wiper

well you can kind of guarantee it'll last if you take it apart and grease everything, especially the shaft.
