good old codeman, shame he wont tell me his secrets.

i strongly recommend you dont post pics with your registration plate anywhere coz you dont have an immobiliser anymore. its worth fitting an aftermarket alarm/immob, they're cheap enough on ebay and easy to fit.

I'll tell you the secrets if you want to know, they are all out there, but you need the the time and determination to get results. Just for the record the job probably takes an hour to do, but no doubt took many hours of investigation, so its worth whatever he charges.
BTW getting some good results from the Bravo iimobiliser/key problem, can produce a new key with code to operate a lost key situation, but cant yet replicate the original lost key codes, but it will come...

i want to know how what you need to do to stop the ecu requiring a code. codeman also told me its quick and simple but he wouldn't even say if it requires the ecu to be opended and a chip removed or replaced, or if it is done purely using software?

already done the security thing dude not takin any chances now lol i sent it to codeman on the thursday he rang fri afternoon and said it was done and back in the post and i got it saturday very good quick service(y)

Basically the ECU eeprom is erased. The eeprom is contained within the uP or seperate chip on the ECU board. Methods vary depending on ECU type how to do it. To stop ECU from pairing up with immobiliser again the simplist way is to disconnect the immo, however if the client has not been instructed to disconnect then probably the the decoding animal has chopped the data pin internally in the ECU, ugh!!...
BTW if its a seperate chip method you can just relace eeprom with a new one, they are always delivered empty (all FFh), then all you need is a soldering iron and fine cutters.
