just ordered smoked side repeaters on ebay but was just wondering whats the best way of getting the old ones out?should they just pop out?they seem really tightly fitted!

i use a piece of 100lb nylon line, its thin enough to get behind anything and strong enough to pull anything off, including fingers so i always wear gloves

but just make sure you don't let the bulb and wiring drop into the bodywork like my husband did, took ages with a coathanger to scoop it out

You didn't get it from ultimate-lighting did you? i bought smoked off them and they sent clear, plus they get moisture in em too:mad:

to stop the moisture (happens to most aftermarket lights) simply wrap a good amount of cling film around the wire and conector and back of the side repeater, making sure its tight enough to prevent water geting in, then cover it in tape. works every time, but dry them out before you do it or you'll seal the moisture in there forever.

Thanks for that, I have that problem, despite the rubber seals (y)
