hi

hoping someone can help. what it is on, on the dash on my bravo(1.4) the red light that looks like a fuel pump comes on every now and again. i dont have the manuel and im just a bit unsure what it means. it only comes on every now and again ?

its usually due to a misfire - do your revs drop at all when it comes on?

Yes. They do. i thought its the way im driving it. but after reading some posts on here it might be something else..

misfire - take it to a garage to be looked at. shouldnt be expensive job. i had two injectors go on my bravo within 12 months.

fuel injection system fault light. think of it as the engine management light. it usually means there is a problem with the fuel injection or a sensor related to it. could be many things. if it only comes on every now and then there's little point worrying about it. once it comes on permanently you'll be able to get the error code from the ecu during a diagnotics check. (£30-40 @ fiat)

try some redex first, its always worth a go and does sometimes sort it out.

use a full bottle of redex with quarter of a tank of petrol, then drive the car hard for a good while.
