elo again....fiat brava 1.6 elx 16v twin cam,car shakes on idle,a small smell of fuel everynow and then,and when drivin on motorway you can feel it missin slightly on accelerator peddle???? all the dashboard wks ok,no lights show any failures.injector light hasnt come on once.
any easy checks i can do or sites with info on this subject......thnx lads

does the injector light come on when you first start the car, and then go out? if it doesnt come on it probably means the light has been disabled to hide a fault (or the bulb has died). either way just make sure.

this type of problem on a 1.6 is almost always an injector failure, and if not that then its coil failure, or dodgy plugs and leads, but all these should illuminate the fuel injection system fault light on the dash.

if it turns out the light is working and there is no fault getting registered i'd be depressed because a diagnostics probably wont find the fault.
