i put 20quid in my bravo the other day and done 77miles in it and its on empty, but when im driving can smell petrol all the time, some 1 said its over fueling but dont no why,:bang:

if you can smell fuel you'd be surprised how often that is a sign of a fuel leak.

i'd leave the car for a couple of hours, then smell around the petrol tank and engine bay. if there's a smell it means there is a leak near the tank.

if there isnt a smell you should switch the ignition on to build up fuel pressure. if there is now a smell, there is a leak on a pressurised fuel line (going to engine or back to tank).

if there isnt a smell you should now start the engine. if you can now smell petrol it means the engine is probably overfueling.

wat is the mpg for a 1.2 bravo?

not sure but its way more than i get. think its 40mpg combined on the 1.2. thats what my girlfriend gets on her 1.2 16v punto with the same engine. i'm lucky if i get 30mpg, very lucky.

Helz gets nearer 50mpg from her 1.2 16v Brava.
