you'll be 18, and unless your winning the lottery, theres no way your gonna be able to afford to run 2 cars on your McJobs wage

i know ive tried it, and they were both cinquecentos

and your laughing if you think your parents are gonna pay to run 2 cars for you

Hope you're loaded dude. My Punto 60 S would have cost 250£ to insure this year, so without NCB that's 625£, the same car will probably cost you 1500~1800£. With the Sei, Punto & V70 my total insurance cost would be about 1900£, that's 4750£ w/out any NCB... Okay you won't have the V70 (you probably wouldn't get insurance for that anyway) but I can easily see you paying that kinda money for 3 low spec untouched cars, let alone modded ones.

well at 17, i want a punto which i have, then iv still got £500 sitting in the bank, which i want to buy a cinq with.

sure, theres then tax, fuel, insurance and repairs but errrrmmm i duno yet lol, but i might end up insuring standard cinq first and keep modding the punto cos i cant afford insurance on it, i duno il see, thats only if i pay by my self, il have to ask my dad lol, his rich lol

one day beau i am sure you'll wake up in the real world ;)

You might have a car now. I had a car before i passed my test, it didnt cost me much until i got it on the road, driving it everyday. Paying for all the times it needed something doing to it. And that was a standard punto!

lol got to ask where you guys get your insurance from lmao. £600 is high never mind £1600.

My cousin insurnace his WRX Twin Turbo and i insure mine for less then £900 each. Im not 25 yet and he is only 22.

MY first car was a Punto GT before i even passed my test and that was £900 a year,
Same time cusin had a Reanutl WIlliams Clio and at that point insurnace was still under £900.

By the time i was 18 and actualy passed my test my first legal car was a modded xr2 with race turned engine and lighting body work, And i was paying £600 full comp on insurance.

I at current have only 1 years no claims and ive had modded cars all the way trow, Ive just turned 24 and my insurnace on the 1.6 bravo is only going to be £390 and i aint even started putting company up against company, I also still own my 1.4 Sri Corsa with full body mods full inside worked over, And thats full comp and only costing me £289 a year to insure that,
I also still own my Subaru WRX which has holder insurance only cause its held in a garage why it is worked over. Thats £600 for held insurance but full comp on the road is only £860 till next year when im 25 and have gotten my 3 years no claims. Then its only going to be less then £600 for that.

My lass has only last week passed her test and she can drive my subaru tomorrow on the road and she will only be paying £480 a year on insurance. Sorry but where ever you guys our looking you aint looking hard enof.

depends on your postcode, but i've never heard of quotes that cheap for those cars at those ages. i've paid over a thousand for an ax gt when i was 19. and over a thousand on a 1.6 orion ghia when 21. and i got more than a hundred quotes before taking out either policy to make sure i got the cheapest. you must live in the richest part of the country where car crime is only something the working class worry about. either that or those policies are in mum or dad's names.
