Looking at two cars tomorrow:

Brava 1.6 Petrol ELX - 51 plate - 2001
£1990 (but he said he'll negotiate). Full mot, and new cam belt.

Bravo 1.9 JTD HLX - Y plate - 2001
£2500 (slight negotiations). Full mot, new cam belt and FSH.

Are these fair prices?
Matt

i agree, no bravo on earth is worth more than £2000, and to be worth more than £1500 it better be damn good (near perfect). The JTD is probably worth £2000 if its perfect with low milage as they're popular models and hold value well, but no more than £2000. you could have loads of cars for £2000 that are better than any bravo. thought about a 3 door 1.8zetec focus? (if you drive one you'll want one i'm sure). if you like the idea of a TD you can look at a mk2 306 1.9TD, much better chassis than a bravo and well known as the best TD of the 90's (again a quick drive will show you how much better).

yeah i think its the italian styling flair and less common factor that sold the bravo to me, and the rock bottom prices.

Ehhhh nice prices there got mine for £600 with full service history and desent mileage, MOT about to run out thou cant see nowt wrong with it. So not a bad price for all this like ! 1.6 BTW, Got it off ebay

Nowt wrong with the Bravo chassis - its straight from the Tipo which was the best hot-hatch chassis for cornering and putting down the power.

As for prices - all depends on condition/mileage. I wouldn't feel ripped off getting a 5 year old diesel with under 20k on the clock for under £4k - Like new for under half price..

I've driven a 1.8 zetec focus (with 5k on the clock) and it was nice, but Bunny's bravo much more fun.
