You finally got it! Con-grat-jelly-ations!

The cd changer, if it has had one fitted, will usually be in the boot - but who knows? The radio unit will say on the front whether it is cd changer compatible or not - on the right hand side i think. As to where one might find the cable to lead to the cd changer should one wish to fit one, I have no idea.

I have no idea about the button thingeither. The immobiliser is built into the engine management thingy. It is deactivated using the key (some kind of electrical code passes through it when you turn the key in the ignition and alerts the engine management thingy that you have the right key for that car) and is nothing to do with the button but is built into the key itself.

I'm sure someone will come along with some more technical answers soon!

Tidy Boy the facia adaptor is available at halfords,i paid a bout a fiver for it,you can also get the relevant leads to fit on the existing ones for about 15 qiud also at halfords. It took about 30 mins all-toghether to take out he original head unit and fit my sony mini-disc.Also make sure the alarm is turned on,under the steering column there is a facia panel with 2 screws, open that and you should see a small rubber plug the alarm key is under that, hope this helps.Anthem

only amatuers shop at halfords!!! the cd changer is not as standard but the wiring is. as you look in the boot to the left should b e wires wrapped in furry protective wrapping stuff. all you need now is the cd changer box. grundig do a compatible one. didnt u get a user manual wid the log book etc??!! its all in there. plus HAynes MAual is a good investment.

U what,only amatuers shop at halfords!!!(RIP SPEED ROCKS(LOL).
For some stuff there just quick and convenient,i agree for serious mods etc try a specialist but for basic parts and acessories there ok.
Not all bravos had the wiring for the multi cd as standard, correct me if i'm wrong but it was only on earlier models but seems as its a 96 model they might be there.
By the way i like the facia adaptor with the original front, very nice.might invest in that myself, cheers nick.

Aha, finally he admits they are 'ok' ;). I am an amateur BTW, I wouldn't get far doing it for a living so does that make it OK to shop there? :D
