My 1.4 Bravo is making a wierd noise. Sounds like its misfiring or like an old car really sort of chugga chugga sounding? if that makes any sense

Changed the plugs and leads cause it was flat as a fart in 3rd but made no diff to the engine noise

Only bought the car last week and know nothing about these cars

Also, the fans only blow on windscreen and feet and rear wiper not working

Any Fiat boffs got any ideas??

Nope not a thing, did have the fuel injector light come on very briefly the other night, but switched off ignition and restarted car and it hasn't come on since

coil pack(s) (are there 2 on the 1.4??) may be to blame. a scrapyard will give you one for £5.

the rear wiper is very common fault, while you're at a scrapyard removing a coil get the rear wiper motor too (another fiver). easy to replace.

as for the air vent not working on the main vent mode, it should, the vent selector does not affect the motor from running, there can only be a blockage, or maybe you have the vents turned off, theres a little wheel to open and close the main vents, one on each vent, check they're open.
