1979 Spider 2000 Engine Torque Specs

Hello All,

My mother is rebuilding her 1979 Fiat Spider 2000 engine in Switzerland. She has tracked down all the Torque values for the various components in German but they are having some difficuly with the Translation of a couple items. Does anyone have a link to a site that might have the information, or would someone be willing to Scan their Shop manual specs.

Many Thanks for your time.

Regards.

The original FIAT Factory Shop Manuals are "the real thing" as provided by the Fiat factory to their dealers and service departments when the cars were being sold. Factory Shop Manuals have comprehensive repair instructions, hundreds of pictures and illustrations and complete technical specifications for each model. Nearly three inches thick and hundreds of pages, each has a wealth of information that is available nowhere else!

1975-1985 FIAT & PININFARINA 124/2000 SPIDER FACTORY SHOP MANUAL - This hefty 505 page manual covers the 1.8 & 2.0 Spiders including fuel injected and "Turbo" models. Everything from basic maintenance, tune-up, detailed repair procedures to complete overhaul for all components are completely described. Whether you're simply changing spark plugs or rebuilding your engine, transmission or differential; this is the most comprehensive manual available anywhere. If it's not in here, it's not anywhere! There are hundreds and hundreds of pictures, diagrams and illustrations. If you had a pile of parts in your garage, this book could tell you how to make a Spider out of them!

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, wish it'd clean itself!

BROOKLANDS SERVICE MANUAL FOR FIAT SPIDER

Formerly known as the Clymer brand of manual, this covers all 1971 to 1984 models very well. Though not quite as detailed as the Factory Original Manual, it's a valuable compilation of service and diagnostic procedures written with the amateur mechanic in mind. Hundreds of pictures and illustrations with full technical specifications and test procedures including the fuel-injected and turbo models. For the home mechanic this manual is most likely all you'll ever need. Highly recommended for it's content and great value. 251 pages, 454 pictures & illustrations.
