Guys,

Ive hit a brick wall here, ive gone round many suppliers in west yorks to try and find an zorst gasket which is in between the manifold and down pipe, ive got the main one (mainfold to head) but no where seems to have this or be able to get it!

do any of you know anywhere i could get them online or via post orders etc?

try desira fiat,fiat dealers that do mail order(if oyu dont have a fiat dealer near you)

have you tried some gun gum, you may laugh but it works perfectly, especially on the hotter parts of the exhaust.

what's gun gum, ive never heard of it!

its a kind of paste made by holts which turns into very hard metal cement stuff when it gets hot. its designed for repairing exhausts, you can get it everywhere, wilkinsons sell it for a couple of quid a pot.

Ah yes I remember struggling to find that one as well as it's specific to that particular engine (shared with the 1.6 I think), local parts shop ordered it in as a specal for me within a couple of days
