depends on your uses,for best security i would say under the front seat,for easy install iwould put it in the boot.check and see if theres a panel in the boot you can put it behind

whilst we're on the topic, has anybody had problems when installing a cd headunit. I put mine in last night, and it seems when i turn off my ignition the radio loses its memory, i dont think it has a permanent live going to it?
Nope you have the feed wires round the wrong way. Get your multitester out and check which wire is feeding with the ignition off. You need to put that one and your ignition fed one into "one"
