Hi everyone, I've got an hgt with a green induction kit and supersprint de-cat pipe (for track use only of course) and i want to get a nice back box too. However the car sounds the mutts nuts as it is and I would like to know if an exhuast would amplify the sound or drown it out with a boring drone.

depends on exhaust, a "straight through" backbox without baffles will be very loud, a decent quality exhaust such as scorpion or magnex will be quieter and sounds better in my option.

Only problem is finding one now. Supersprint don't make them anymore so it's second hand or an ebay hunt.

worthy of mention are powerflow, they have places all over the uk and provide a while you wait custom exhaust service, they can make a custom fit stainless system to your spec while you wait and their prices arent that bad. i've never seen or heard a bad thing about them. they sound great and last forever.

That's what I have - they will design an exhaust to your specification, loud or quiet, extra performance or not, pretty or practical but one word of warning, pick your outlet carefully as quality varies. Round here, you're better to drive 35 miles to the west coast as they have a better reputation than the local bunch!
