I going to buy a BRAVO HGT 155 2.0 20V off someone, and was just wondering, if the guy's asking too much for it.

The car is T reg (early 1999) done 45k, light mods (air filter and exhaust). The guy seems to LOST the service history! But has had a recently small service (just oil change and check over). He wants 4 grand for it. The car in pretty good condition, apart from bumper, which needs some TLC.

Does this sound reasonable? What do you reckon? What should I look out for?

I sold my November 2000 HGT 155 for £4,400 and I had full fiat service history AND had the 72,000 service done just before I sold (£700+ cambelt change + service). If you want one there are lots around for sale at bargain prices but make sure you read the Bravo Guide first to know what to look for!

ask him which dealer he got it serviced by, tell him you'll check with them, his reaction will tell you if it's been looked after
