when ever i cut the engine out by putting the clutch down i get a real wierd whining sound from the engine bay like from the front of passanger side, sometimes when i let the clutch go slowly the engine whines until clutch isnt up fully, but am guessing i cant hear the whinning once clutch is up because i have a loud exhaust so it drowns the whining sound. any idea what this could be?

also getting a squeeking sound from when i put the clutch up and down, cant be slave cylinder as i had that replaced just 2 months ago, again any ideas?

does that mean clutch is on its way out, is the clutch bearing the whining or the squeeking?

guys anyone, i dont want to breakdown. the sound is more like a whining belt or engine, dont know what the prob is.

could it be clutch bearing

A whining noise when the clutch is pressed is definately the clutch thrust bearing. The only time it goes is when you remove your foot completely from the clutch pedal right? My bravo HGT is doing exactly that at the moment.

well had it checked ast garage 2day, it is the bearing on the clutch, so ive gone and invested in a black diamond clutch, should have it fitted by nxt week
