hi theres a chip on ebay that connects to your ecu for 4 quid and it says it gives you 20bhp more. surely this isnt rite can any 1 hellp me

Hi,
It is only a 10p resistor that fools the ECU into thinking that the car is cooler and so runs the mix rich.
The ECU would probably compensate within about a 100 miles of use and in the meantime your'e trashing your Cat.
But yes you will prob get a bit of extra power for a while.
Do a forum search for RESISTOR for other comments.
