hi all ive posted a similiar problem like this before ,but my wife not myself!! ,still complains of warning lights coming on the dashboard.
If I may give you todays senario ,frantic call from her this morning,she reverses off the drive puts into drive and warning light flashes(recent diagnostic at garage tells us fault in the gear selector area).Calms herself down goes on and visits a friend restarts the car drives home puts into park and says the the selector light on the panel wont go into park and panics and throws her toys out the cot!!.
She has always been a manual driver and I suspect that perhaps she is selecting gears to fast.I come home start the car put into reverse,put into neutral pause for say 2 seconds then into drive and of course no problems drive round for a good 10mins and everything is fine.(is this the correct procedure)[?]
If this is not the answer then maybe is because it was cold damp and wet this morning.CAR HAS ITS OWN BLANKET OVER THE BONNET TONIGHT.
Please advise a struggling husband
