Thanks to you chaps on here I managed to source the 147 handles brand new(y) Many thanks:D

Need your help again now!

Does anyone know if any manufacturer makes the angel eyes headlights for the bravo and carbon fibre bonnets?

Seen plenty for punto's but nothing for bravo's?

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

I've been looking around for angel eye lights too mate.... not found a company that does them specifically for bravo though....

The next best thing I found were Halo Fog lamps from http://www.gxauto.co.uk/catalog/default.php

As for carbon fibre bonnets... not a chance... I was told the best thing to do is get a manufacturer to make a one-off as they only make them for mainstream cars like common old escorts, impreza's etc...

They fit on bravo great... One of my mates got some and fitted them to his...
looks cool in the dark if you don't have any other lights on but a bit naff otherwise.

Not sure if i'm gonna fit them on my bravo though... may just get some headlights from a different car totally and try to modify them to fit!!!

I'll try and get photos of his lights and post them on the site

Look good, but really wanted the proper aftermarket jobbies for my hgt. I'm gonna approach one of the manufacturers I think (somehow).

Update on the carbon bonnet, got in touch with a manufacturer who makes them for corsa's/evo's/scooby's etc etc (all the popular stuff) and they would be willing to use my car as a patern, but would need the car for about 2 weeks:mad: They have had sufficient interest to start a small run of bravo bonnets, but no one is willing to give up their car as a donor for 2 weeks.

I'll post the details if and when anything happens.

just get a bonnet of a scrap one and send them that + have thay told u a price coz i wouldend mind one

That's exactly what I initially thought, but they need a physical car there to aid fitting etc as aparently some of the bravo's differ (engine clearance and so on)

All i will say is that I have been offered a substantial discount, but can't really say alot more until it's finalised.

As things stand, looking to have the car down to them for the second week in jan 06 (y)

Someone on the Boo forum a while ago fitted Mk1 Punto Angeleyes to their Bravo.
He said at the time they only took minor modifications to the wings to fit, but he since sold his Bravo and nobody else has ever done it!

So until someone sticks their neck out and tries it again we shall never know! (Not feeling flush enough atm to do it myself!

Got a set of Mk1 Punto headlights for £20 from the scrappie....

Gonna test fit them and see what mods are required now before i fork out for the angel eyes....

Luckily, one of my mates is excellent at modding bodywork etc.

Maybe I could talk him into making a kit for anyone else interested in doing the conversions......

I'll update soon........

:)

Hopefully gonna get them fitted this week. My mate has had a look and thinks it shouldn't be a big job.

I'll hopefully post a step by step guide on how to do the conversion so that others can do the conversion too.....

Just wish this snow would stop... then we can get started soon.....
