Autodoc is best ......they have very good quality ones at very decent pricesHello,
I own a brava 100/16v '00
I want to change the shock absorbers .
I want the new ones to be as possible the same with the original.
I don't like the hard ones.
but i don't know which one is the right for my car
Can you help me ?
it is possible that you became accustomed to the worn out shocks, and that new shocks feel too hard, because you have driven too much on old ones.
any good name brand will be within specifications for the OEM shocks.
I have a Brava 1.2, I changed the shocks twice.
The first time I fitted KYB Excel, they felt quite firm from the start and after I few years I realised they had become very harsh and uncomfortable so I decided to change them again and also fit new correct springs.
The shocks I chose were Gabriel, old stock from Ebay. I am very happy with the ride now.
The best mainstream alternative I can suggest is Sachs or Boge (same company I believe).
Be sure you get the shocks for the 1.6 !
